BUILD THE FUTURE WITH THE BEST IN UWB MICROLOCATION AND RADAR.967 At Humatics we have a natural affinity for those with a curious nature and innovative spirit.
The Humatics Scholar line offers development kits for researchers and product developers, as well as educational tools for students and professors. Humatics Scholar offers broad, intuitive functionality for Ultra-Wideband precision distance measurement, ad hoc network formation, radar sensing, and signal processing. Our labs and kits are carefully designed to provide researchers with the tools they need to ramp up quickly, whether the end goal is demonstration, teaching, evaluation, and research, or development and prototyping.
Lab and MegaLab
The Lab bundles Scholar P440 modules with multiple software tools to support product development, postgraduate research, and undergraduate labs. Our larger MegaLab package is ideal for broader deployments.
Ranging and Localization
Using UWB pulsed signaling optimized for two-way time-of-flight (TW-TOF) ranging and communications, the Scholar P440 module provides wireless distance measurements with centimeter-scale precision, TDMA and ALOHA networking protocols, and a 2D/3D localization layer. API and sample code are included.
Major universities and major intellects
We love to explore with the brightest minds in radio and radar technology from institutions like MIT, ETH Zurich, National University of Singapore, Georgia Tech, Tsinghua University, and KAIST. We provide a set of development tools that allow researchers to push the limits in fields as diverse as industrial automation, mobile robotics, mining, healthcare, entertainment, physical security, and defense.
From doctoral dissertations to government research projects to commercial R&D, our kits and lab packages help you create the bleeding edge from the leading edge. Here are just a few research areas you can explore with Scholar:
- Precision ranging and localization
- Mobile robot navigation
- Radar imaging and signal processing
- RF channel modeling
- Communications and networking
Keep students engaged
Scholar P440 modules are powerful teaching tools and can be used to help bridge the gap between theory, as presented in lecture and text, and practice, as demonstrated in a laboratory exercise. The more often radio theory can be supported and reinforced by a tactile (and–dare we say it? FUN) laboratory experience, the more the student will come to understand the theory.
“We extensively use Humatics’ Ultra-Wideband technology in our research on indoor ranging and localization and have recently incorporated it as the main localization technology in our mobile robotics courses. It suits many demanding indoor localization applications with a very good balance between performance and ease of deployment, while the API and software allow our students to start using the system within a few minutes or easily develop their own navigation solutions.”
